Love Drenched: An Adventure Back to Who You Truly Are
Have you ever found yourself asking those age-old questions that seem to linger in the depths of our human awareness?
Why are we here?
What is the meaning of all this?
What are we really?
These questions have traveled with humanity for centuries, whispering in moments of reflection. My own dance with these questions has been deeply intertwined with my connection to plant allies, nature, and the raw human experience. And through this dance, a truth has emerged—a knowing, a visceral understanding of who and what I truly am.
Enter Love Drenched. A term gifted to me by a dear sister on my birthday earlier this year, it feels like the perfect articulation of what I’ve come to believe about our essence. It’s not just a phrase; it’s an invitation, a reminder, and a way of being.
What Does It Mean to Be Love Drenched?
For me, Love Drenched is a call to remember our essence. It’s the feeling of being fully immersed in the truth of who we are—Love. Not the fleeting, conditional love we’ve been taught to seek or earn, but the infinite, unshakable Love that is the fabric of the universe itself.
To be Love Drenched is to know, deeply and viscerally, that we are:
Love. (with a capital L)
Soul.
Source.
Infinitely expanding consciousness.
The seat of existence.
We are not separate from the universe; we are the universe, expressing itself in unique, beautiful, messy, human form. And yet, in this realm of duality, we often lose sight of this truth. The world around us conditions us to believe that we are broken, sinful, or unworthy. These layers of shame and separation cloud our understanding of who we are and why we’re here.
But here’s the thing—these layers are illusions. They’re stories we’ve inherited or created to protect ourselves. And like all stories, they can be rewritten, dissolved, or simply “returned to sender.”
If You Saw Yourself as Love
Imagine for a moment: If you truly saw yourself as Love, how would you live your life? What might change in the way you move, speak, or show up in the world?
What beliefs or stories keep you from fully embracing this possibility?
What fears arise when you consider yourself sacred, holy, and infinite?
When we begin to see ourselves as extensions of source consciousness, these questions shift from intellectual musings to powerful invitations for transformation. They invite us to dissolve the constructs that have kept us small and to deeply know the truth of our being.
The Illusion of Worthiness
For a long time, I wrestled with the idea of “worthiness.” I’d tell myself, I am worthy, as if repeating the mantra could convince me of something I didn’t yet believe. But as I’ve deepened into this adventure, I’ve come to see worthiness differently.
Worthiness isn’t something to claim, argue for, or prove. It’s something to know.
If we are infinite beings, born from the same source as the stars, the trees, and the ocean, then worthiness is our birthright. It’s not something we earn; it’s something we are.
Think of the difference:
To claim worthiness is to say, “I deserve this.”
To know worthiness is to say, “I am this.”
One is not inherently better than the other, but they settle differently in the body. Claiming can feel like an act of defiance—necessary and powerful. But knowing? Knowing feels like coming home. It’s quiet, grounding, and unshakable.
When we embody this knowing, we free ourselves from the need to fight for our worth. We remember that we are worthy simply because we exist. And in this remembering, there is a silent, undeniable power.
Love Drenched: A Way of Being
To be Love Drenched is to live from this truth. It’s to remember who you are beneath the stories, the fears, and the illusions. It’s to embody your sacredness, not as something you’ve earned, but as something you’ve always been.
This is not an easy adventure. It takes courage to peel back the layers and face what lies beneath. It takes vulnerability to see yourself clearly and love yourself anyway. But it is also the most beautiful adventure you will ever take.
So, here is an invitation. Let’s unfurl the layers, dissolve the illusions, and step boldly into the truth of who we are. Let’s become Love Drenched—for ourselves, for each other, and for the world.
In this journey of becoming, may you remember that:
You are infinite. You are sacred. You are Love.
With all my heart, Amanda
